【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtestmethodsforpersonalprotectiveequipmentusedtoprotecttheoperator'seyesandfaceagainstharmfulopticalradiationandotherspecificrisksorhazardsinusualwelding,cuttingorsimilaroperations.Thisstandardspecifiesprotectionincludingergonomicaspectsagainstrisksorhazardsofradiative,flammable,mechanicalandelectricalnature.Theequipmentisdesignedtoincorporateprotectivefilters,withorwithoutcover/backingocularsasrecommendedbytheweldingprotectormanufacturer,inaccordancewithEN166:1995andcomplyingwithEN169:1992orEN379:1994.Hoods,inspectorfacescreens,laserprotectiveequipmentandweldingprotectionforspecialapplications,arenotcoveredinthisstandard.Thisstandarddefinesthetermsusedandspecifiesrequirementsformaterials,designandmanufacture.
