【摘要】:ThisspecificationcoversstainlesssteelclampsforusewithfoursizesofinsertfittingsthatcomplywithF1807,andcross-linkedpolyethylene(PEX)plastictubingthatcomplieswithF876orF877.Theseclampsareintendedasanalternativetothecopper-alloycrimp-ringsofSpecificationsF1807orF2159forusein100psi(689.5kPa)cold-andhot-waterdistributionsystemsoperatingattemperaturesuptoandincluding180?F(82?C).Includedarerequirementsformaterials,workmanship,dimensionsandmarkingofthestainlesssteelclamps;requirementsfordeformingtheclamps;whichapplytoassembliesofPEXtubingandSpecificationsF1807andF2159,insertfittingssecuredwithdeformedclampsperthisspecification.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIvaluesstatedinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposes.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
