【摘要】:1.1Thisstandardspecifiesthetechnicalsafetyrequirementsandmeasurestobeadoptedbypersonsundertakingthedesign,constructionandsupply(includinginstallationanddismantling,witharrangementsfortransportandmaintenance)ofmillingmachines(see3.1)includingmachinescapableofperformingboringoperations(see3.5).Machinescoveredbythisstandardincludebutarenotlimitedto:?kneeandcolumntypemillingmachines(seefiguresC.1,C.2);?bed–typemillingmachines(seefigureC.3);?multi–spindlemillingmachines(seefiguresC.4andC.5);?plano–millingmachines(seefiguresC.4andC.5);?profileandcontouringmillingmachines(seefigureC.6),?millingandboringmachines(seefigureC.7).1.2Thisstandardtakesaccountofintendeduseincludingreasonablyforeseeablemisuse,maintenance,cleaning,andsettingoperations.Itpresumesaccesstothemachinefromalldirections.Itdescribesmeanstoreduceriskstooperatorsandotherexposedpersons.1.3Thisstandardalsoappliestoworkpiecetransferdeviceswhentheyformanintegralpartofthemachine.1.4Thisstandarddealswithsignificanthazardsrelevanttomillingmachineswhentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeclause4).1.5Hazardsarisingfromothermetalworkingprocesses(e.g.grinding,turning,forming,EDM,laserprocessing)arecoveredbyotherstandards(seeBibliography).1.6Millingmachineswithautomatictoolchangingcapabilitiesarenotcoveredbythisstandard(seeprEN12417:1996).1.7ThisstandardisnotapplicabletomillingmachineswhichweremanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationbyCENofthisstandard.
